Cookies
The short version
Nothing is set until you agree. Load this site and reject, or ignore the banner entirely, and no analytics cookie is written and no analytics script loads. That is not a claim about intent — it is how the page is built.
There are no advertising cookies here, no tracking pixels, and nothing shared with ad networks.
What actually gets set
Only if you accept analytics:
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current session | 2 years |
ph_<key>_posthog | PostHog | Tells one visitor apart from another, and links the pages in one visit | 1 year |
Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage under
olively_consent_v1. It is not a cookie, is never sent to a server, and stays until
you clear your browser data.
Session recording
PostHog can replay a visit as something resembling a video of the page — cursor movement, clicks, scrolling. Text you type is masked in your browser before anything is sent, so a recording shows that a field was filled but not what went into it.
It is a separate switch from analytics. You can accept one and refuse the other. Recordings are stored in the EU and deleted after 30 days. There is more detail on the privacy page.
Changing your mind
Use the button above. Rejecting stops any further collection immediately; it does not retroactively delete what was already gathered, though recordings age out after 30 days anyway.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site treats that as a refusal and never asks. You will not see the banner at all.
Browser controls
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies without asking any website's permission — look under privacy settings. Blocking everything will break parts of many sites, though not this one: nothing here depends on a cookie to function.
